Christmas is a season during which many people enjoy "dressing up" their computers and playing games related to the holidays. This program has two main functions: it is a Christmas-themed screensaver, but it is also a Breakout-style game with nice music and sound effects. You can simply allow the program to activate and watch as Santa bounces a ball and tries to destroy as many Christmas decorations as he can, or you can enter the game. To play it, you only need to grab your mouse and move Santa from one side to another. The aim is to make a ball bounce upwards to break all the decorations without touching the floor. If the ball falls, it will be lost. You will have three balls each time. Once you have exhausted all your balls, the game will restart automatically. All this sounds good, but there is a drawback in the shareware version: after you play during a minute or so, a "nag screen" appears, suggesting you to register your copy of the program, thus hiding the game and preventing you to bounce the ball. Although the nag screen disappears after a few seconds, it interrupts the gameplay and becomes very irritating. If you enjoy the program and want to get rid of this limitation, then you will need to purchase a license, which is rather affordable.
